While the Tigers have a horrific road record covering just 1 out of their last 9 roadies, put that aside here for a minute because Miss State does not have the playmakers on offense to keep up. Auburn a well oiled offense machine with a big time QB running the show in Newton. He was once a Florida QB and transferred and is a monster at 6 foot 6 inches and he can flat out get it done, and has surprising scrambling ability as well. Auburn has a 3-1 ATS record in here the last 4 road trips, have more balance on offense and Miss St steps up huge in class here after beating up a weak Memphis team last week. Miss State also is playing QB shuffle, which is not good against a decent Auburn defense that can disrupt a game plan with some very athletic linebackers. Saints -4.5 to 5 max Not sold on revenge factor here for the Vikes who have looked shaky at best and Favre on a weak ankle is limited in mobility against an attack defense that beat him up last year in the championship games. Also Favre without WR Rice is a big hit for the Vikes, he was their playmaker and Favres favorite WR. RB Peterson will get his yards, but QB Brees has looked to me like he is in mid season form, all cylinders for Saints offense is clicking and I like the adjustments and people added on defense. Saints deep at RB and DB and should be able to get a 7-10 point win here, in a very tough place to play for anyone. Minny not as good as last year, Saints every bit as good and will be fired up in the dome for the first game of the returning world champs, the l[place will be on fire and is worth 3 points at home, making this line low.
