A former NBA handicapping champion, Dennis Macklin knows what it takes to beat the books over the course of a professional basketball season. He’s off to a 17-10 run to start his 2009-10 campaign and has lined the wallets of his clients with plenty of extra cash. Last night it was the Celtics over the Spurs, a game that a lot of people did not see going the way it did. D-Mack did though, and he helped pad his clients’ bankrolls once again with another easy winner. Let’s see why he liked this game as one of his premium NBA picks:

The Celtics and Spurs both in on five straight wins (SA 4-1 ATS) so something has to give. That said, the Celts have had the best of it since the formation of the Boston Three Party going 3-1 SU and ATS in the series, the wins in convincing fashion. San Antonio has always struggles versus Atlantic Division (6-14 ATS) foes and has been a rotten home fave of less then three (4-8 L12) of late. Better team getting points is no brainer. Take Boston.
