Devin Harris Ejected On Flagrant Foul

Devin Harris has been ejected from New Jersey’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers after committing a flagrant foul. Harris practically (and accidentally) almost took off the head of Cavs forward Jamario Moon as Moon rose for a breakaway dunk. That came with 3:48 remaining in the game and resulted in a flagrant-two foul and automatic ejection for Harris.
LeBron James quickly approached and wrapped his arms around Harris underneath the basket, but it was clear no one intended to fight. In fact, no one really seemed the least bit upset by it, including Moon. Moon lated said that he didn’t feel like was intentional, or even that bad of a foul.
Nets interim coach Kiki Vandeweghe agreed, saying he just thought Harris was trying to stop Moon from scoring, but got him in an unfortunate place.
Harris had lost his dribble near halfcourt when Shaquille O’Neal came up with a steal and passed ahead to Moon.
You can understand why Harris is so frustrated with his season, now that the Nets have dropped to 2-23.
