Coach Brown Ejected From Rockets Game
December 10, 2009
Things did not go well for the Cleveland Cavaliers last night, espeically coach Mike Brown. Brown was ejected late in the second quarter for arguing a non-call when his star LeBron James drove to the basket.
James was posting up the Rockets Shane Battier. He turned to shoot but Houston forward Chuck Hayes slapped at the ball, causing James to miss his shot. Hayes grabbed the rebound and started a Rocket fast break that led to a score.
It didn’t take Brown long to storm onto the court and start yelling at referee Scott Wall, who quickly gave Brown a pair of technicals and tossed him from the game.
Maybe Brown was just tired of watching his team get beat, since Houston was leading 52-39 at the break.
One guy who was happy to see the ejection was Jack Jones, who had the Rockets +3 last night with one of his NBA picks. This expert has done a great job all season long of beating the NBA point spreads and once he saw the Cavs coach hit the locker room, he all but knew his ticket was going to be cashed once again.
