The Cleveland Cavaliers (11-4 SU, 7-8 ATS, 7-7-1 O/U) are ‘taking care of business’. LeBron James has led his team to victory in three consecutive games while helping the Cavs win eight of nine overall.
The Cavaliers manhandled the Detroit Pistons 98-88 on Wednesday night as I predicted to cash in for NBA online sports betting enthusiasts as 5-point road favorites as James has another fantastic all-around game with 34 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.
The Cavs will take on a Charlotte Bobcats (5-9 SU, 9-5 ATS, 8-6 O/U) team that has won two consecutive games including a convincing 116-81 win over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night.
After going seven consecutive games without scoring 100 points, the Bobcats have topped the century mark in two straight after acquiring talented forward Stephen Jackson from the Golden State Warriors in a trade last week.
Charlotte covered the NBA moneyline for pro hoops backers as 2.5-point home favorites as Gerald Wallace scored 31 points and hauled down 13 rebounds and Jackson added 23 points.

Analysis: The Cleveland Cavaliers may be the more accomplished team coming into this contest, but I am going out on a limb to take the Charlotte Bobcats to cover the spread in this game with the team’s improving offense and overwhelming defense, led by taskmaster Larry Brown.
The Bobcats have been playing excellent defense all season long, ranking second in the league in points allowed, holding their opponents to just 88.9 points per contest this season.
Now that the team seems to have cured its previous offensive struggles, I think they may be ready to start turning some heads, by stretching their modest winning streak to three games with a big home win over James and the Cavaliers.
The Cavaliers have gone just 1-4 ATS in their last five games following an SU win while the Bobcats have recorded a fine 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall.
I know the majority of the remaining key BetUS NBA betting trends for this matchup suggest a Cavaliers’ win and cover, but I’m taking the Bobcats tonight.
Take the Bobcats +5 points.
