I’m not too worried about this Tracy McGrady situation since he has only played limited minutes in six games this season. New Orleans has been awful on the road this year, going 2-12 while scoring just 96.9 ppg and giving up 104.9 ppg. The edge here is with the home team, who I think gets back on track with a big win over the visiting Hornets.

This team has not travelled well, but they have been playing well lately and I think they can carry that momentum with them on the road. Still, they have covered the number in four straight games and I still think there is a few points value with them tonight.

Cleveland is approaching a tough road trip where they visit Dallas, Phoenix, Sacramento, and the Lakers so are they really going to clamp down tonight against a weak opponent? My gut says no, especially after they beat them by 15 points up in Milwaukee 12 days ago.

This is an ugly dog tonight, but I’ll play them small and hope they can keep it within reach.

The Nuggets are 7-4 on the road this year, but they have played teams that are getting beat by an average of 3 ppg, and when you break down the point scored, points against splits (102.9 for against teams giving up 100.4 and 99.8 allowed against scoring 97.5), means they are sitting right around an average team on the road.

The Bobcats are 7-3 in front of their home crowd, but have been what I would say is a fairly average team there (scoring 89.4 ppg against teams allowing 97.8 and allowing 90.4 against teams scoring 97.7), so the 3.5 points is generous.

Denver is coming off a win in San Antonio, then a win last night in Philadelphia against former teammate Allen Iverson. In two days they head up to Detroit where Billups came from, so having a non-conference opponent smashed in between spells letdown.
