Boyd’s Hawks at Raptors Pick

Nobody has been hotter than Jimmy Boyd when it comes to finding winners with the NBA point spreads.  Now standing at 19-4 over his last 23 NBA picks and 24-12 over his last 36 with Best Bets, you can cash in on one of the top young names in the business by signing up for one of his long-term subscription packages.  A great handicapper who devores the books in all the sports he handicaps, when basketball comes around he turns it up a notch and really puts money in his clients’ wallets.

With one of his free NBA picks for Friday, Jimmy is putting 1 unit on the Hawks/Raptors OVER 209: These teams just faced off on Dec. 2nd and we saw 261 total points scored to crush a line of 212. It was nice to be on the right side of that easy winner with one of my 5* “Total” Dominator plays. This number has been set even lower than that one and the public is all over the Over as a result. It would appear that this is a trap by the books, but I believe they have missed their mark. I think the books have compensated too much for injuries that could keep Joe Johnson, Jose Calderon, and Andrea Bargnani out of this game. Sure, Toronto was embarrassed and is going to want to play better defense tonight, but it is giving up 108.7 points per game. It just hasn’t been getting the job done defensively. The Over is 21-7 in the last 28 meetings between these two teams. It is also 6-0 in the Hawks’ last 6 games as a road favorite of 4.5 or less and 7-2 in the Raptors’ last 9 games as a home underdog of 4.5 or less. Plus, the Over is 15-3 in the Hawks’ last 18 games vs. a team with a losing record. This one doesn’t get out of hand like the first meeting, but I still expect it to make it over.
