Alexander’s Mavs at Thunder Free Picks

Jeff Alexander hopes to hit another one of his free NBA picks on December 16, 2009 with his play on the Dallas Mavericks at the Oklahoma City Thunder.  The side Jeff is leaning towards is the Dallas Mavericks -2 and here is why:

Bottom Line: The Mavs are 9-4 SU & ATS on the road and I look for them to continue their dominance away from home in Oklahoma City tonight. The Mavs are rolling, having won 4 in a row, and they face a Thunder squad that has dropped two straight to better teams, Cleveland and Denver, by 13 and 9 points. That is the case again tonight as Dallas is just the better team with more weapons. The Thunder are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games as a home underdog while the Mavericks are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a road favorite. Lay the number.
