2010 NBA All-Star Recommendations

Unfortunately the voting for the 2010 NBA All-Star game is out of control as Tracy McGrady is currently slated as a Western Conference starter despite missing almost the entire first quarter of the season.  I do like how the league tries to encourage fan involvement, but this kind of thing starts to make you scratch your head wonder if it’s such a good idea.  Anyway, here is my early list of players that have actually earned their spot on the All-Star team, so let’s take a look:

Eastern Conference

Starters:

Forward— LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers

Forward Chris Bosh, Toronto Raptors

Center Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic

Guard Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat

Guard Vince Carter, Orlando Magic

Reserves:

F—Paul Pierce, Boston Celtics

F—Kevin Garnett, Boston Celtics

C—Brook Lopez, New Jersey Nets

G—Joe Johnson, Atlanta Hawks

G—Rodney Stuckey, Detroit Pistons

F—Josh Smith, Atlanta Hawks

F—Gerald Wallace, Charlotte Bobcats

Western Conference

Starters:

Forward— Carmelo Anthony, Denver Nuggets
