LeBron, Carmelo Named Players of the Month for November

The Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James and the Denver Nuggets’ Carmelo Anthony today named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Month for October/November. James paced the Eastern Conference in scoring (29.2 ppg), was second in assist (8.0 apg) and added 6.7 rebounds per game, leading the Cavaliers to a 12-5 start. James is one of only two players to record a triple-double this season (Rafer Alston) after recording 23 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists on Oct. 28 at Toronto.... 

Josh Smith Ejected with Two Technicals

Josh Smith was ejected from the Atlanta Hawks’ game against the New York Knicks on Thursday night.  The first technical happened after he scored on New York’s Al Harrington. Golden State Warriors head coach Don Nelson has not fully recovered from his bout with pneumonia and won’t travel with the team on its five-game road trip that begins Monday in Oklahoma City.  He has already missed five games after his Nov. 23 diagnosis but returned to the bench Thursday night for a home game against the Houston Rockets.
